Melissa Orlov is a specialist in communications, marketing, and writing. A cum laude graduate of Harvard College, she has spent 25+ years working with a wide variety of clients in many industries, the most recent of whom include Dr. Hallowell and Dr. John Ratey.
She has worked with Dr. Hallowell since 2003 on his educational efforts and book releases, and she has a special interest in the topic of ADHD and marriage that derives from both personal experience and from her interaction with couples who struggle with the issues that ADHD introduces into their relationships. Dr. Hallowell and Ms. Orlov are currently writing a book on how ADHD affects marriages and what couples can do to thrive in their ADHD-affected marriages.
In addition to her work with Dr. Hallowell, Ms. Orlov is a trustee of Phillips Exeter Academy. Her hobbies include road biking, singing, and being a lacrosse, soccer and crew mom. Ms. Orlov and her husband of 18 years have suffered through many of the issues that couples affected by ADHD experience, and are happy to report that they have turned their relationship around into a partnership they both cherish. They have two fabulous teenagers.
